The Independent Movement of Absolute Renovation "IMAR" (Spanish: Movimiento Independiente de Renovación Absoluta "MIRA") is a political party in Colombia, founded on March 21, 2000 by 51095 Colombians guided by the lawyer and actually Senator Carlos Alberto Baena Lopez. Commonly, this party is known in Colombia as "Movimiento MIRA". Its platform includes a continuous and social work.
At the elections of 2002 the party won as one of the many small parties parliamentary representation.
The MIRA Movement took part in the legislative elections of 2006, in which it won 1 out of 166 deputies and 2 out of 100 senators.
In the 2010 took part in the legislative elections, in which it won 1 out of 166 deputies and 3 out of 100 senators.
Its present Chairperson is Carlos Alberto Baena.
